I would like to believe the same. Clive has always been quite enamored with his stories, and it would go some way as to explain why when it is believed that children are the only ones to understand them. And it reminds him of memories of when they were children, of when Joshua would sneak into his room before bed on nights he'd have trouble sleeping due to his illnesses or whenever he'd feel lonely, and how Clive would read him one of the many books he'd kept in his room, stories of brave heroes, of daring adventures. Even reenacting them for him as if they were a play, sometimes even Joshua and their Uncle Byron (whenever he'd come to visit) joining in, taking on their own roles.
