[With another nod – slighter this time – Jill squeezes Joshua's elbow indicating for him to follow, then lets go and passes ahead, moving down the stairs to where the Mess opens up to the sky. She stops near to the centre, favouring the side where the Map Room sits, then turns to face Joshua, waiting for him to stop before speaking.]

This is our central operations area, so to speak. Over there are the Counter and the Patron's Whisper. At the former, Clive receives information on any needs our allies would see fulfilled, while the latter is where the Hideaway receives donations for our efforts.

[Another slight turn so they're facing the Hunt Board. Nektar bounces in the air, proud to be the focus of their new resident, and Jill waves him hello as she continues.]

That's Nektar, keeper of the Hunt Board. When our Cursebreakers stumble upon particularly fiendish enemies, they leave a report on the board for Clive to attend to later. The ones he's slain have already been marked, if you care to see how busy he's been.

[A bit of darkness slips into her tone, and she forces a smile. Attending to all that ails the Twins is a cornerstone of operations at the Hideaway, but it still pains Jill, at times, to think of all that Clive takes on, mentally and physically, in the name of protecting others.]
